been a bit since i've drawn some dancing rooks! so what better way to get back into it than by drawing my good friend @kaleido-moon's Vesper de Riva?

i imagine she and Marisol are slow dancing to a pretty piano ballad - Marisol is just as enchanted as i am!!! ;w;

technically this is kind of for the last day of @rookfest but! today happens to be @torrick17's birthday!

so i wanted to draw her Rook de Riva, Nerea, and Marisol dancing as part of my Dancing Rooks :) they're teaming up to make Viago's life worse >:) hehe (Nerea being like his sister, Marisol being his. Something.)

will be doing other rookfest festivities this week, but wanted to kick off with something special <3

'dancing rooks' - vol. 1

this past year, i've become unapologetically self-indulgent about an OC for the first time lol - my Rook, Marisol de Riva (today is not her birthday, that's in November haha).

WILDLY ??? other people ALSO like her??? which is an unexpected development! but makes me so happy and amazed every time.

and! in talking about her and interacting with other fans, i've done what has been one of the most fun things i've done in a long time - smushing other people's Rooks/OC's into her arms and making them dance :) (and sometimes date hehe)

i plan to keep drawing this series of dancing rooks, because it brings me joy. so be ready!!!
