To be fair the commercial made it seem like a bad made for tv movie. The kind you only watch in the middle afternoon when you miss school or work because you’re sick and you’re too weak to change the channel.

the trailer made it look just like broadchurch

but it's in a really competitive timeslot so idk what fox was expecting

I only want to watch it because Michael Penis (Peña) is on it. And because it gives me cognitive dissonance to hear DT with an American accent. I’m still perplexed as to why we need an English to English remake of something??????

because money. bbca bought broadchurch and it got like 5 viewers so fox saw the opportunity to capitalize

although i don't think it's exactly the smash hit fox was hoping for lol
