that's true. but i don't think it change the fact that we like seeing other people suffer. i think it's a bit more than curiosity, though... like, when people slow down to get a glimpse of a horrific accident on the highway, that's mainly curiosity. but those shows where you watch people getting hurt for an hour, i don't think you can put that down as simple curiosity.
