Tubbo drops into his bed at Karl’s house and screams into his pillow. He hears someone stomping up the stairs, and Karl is the only one home. “I’m fine! Teenage stuff!”

During the summer, Tommy alternates between Tubbo and Ranboo, ‘cause Ranboo wasn’t totally comfortable with Tubbo after the conversation on the roof. Tubbo goes out to the Teenage Mall District every day that summer. It was the only place he knew he could lose the Jays’ tail on him.

One evening Tubbo comes to Karl’s house and there’s a suitcase in the living room. “Thought you were moving away in September?”

“It’s for you. Schlatt traded you to Philza Wright. Pack your stuff, trade’s tonight.”

Tubbo grabs the bag and walks to his room. Once the door is closed, he’s all energy and quickly shoves everything away into the case.

Tubbo schools his features to not be so smiley and sits in the backseat of the car as directed. Karl and Tubbo drive to a secluded section of the Teenage Mall District, neutral territory. Tubbo sees Schlatt waiting with Dream.

Wilbur and Technoblade Wright walk into enemy territory. Tubbo can’t hear anything, but they seem amicable. They’re just talking. He honestly didn’t expect it to go smoothly, but sometimes things didn’t go wrong, and he shouldn’t question it.

Wilbur stays with Schlatt and Dream while Technoblade walks to Karl’s car. “Get out.”

Tubbo rushes out. He goes to grab his suitcase, but Technoblade beats him to it. He grabs Tubbo by the scruff of his neck with the other hand. Tubbo flinches, but he reminds himself that these are Tommy’s brothers.

Technoblade puts him in the backseat of the Wright’s car, and goes to sit in the shotgun seat.

The two sit in silence for half an hour until Wilbur slides into the driver’s seat. “Hello Tubbo.”

“Hi Wilbur.”

“How are you?”

“I’m fine.”

“That’s good. You’re coming over for dinner.”

“Will dad be there?”

“Later, he’s busy tonight.”

Tubbo folds into himself. “Okay.” He looks out the window. “Did you do something?”

“No. We got someone else to do something.”

Wilbur pulls into the driveway of a normal looking house. Tubbo looks out the window and briefly worries if this was a ruse. That’s when the front door opens.

Before Tubbo can think, his car door is being ripped open and Tommy has his arms around him.

“Hi Tommy.”

“Hi. Dan made lasagna. Come in. Techno’ll grab your bags. Captain Maron said you could stay for a sleepover.”

“Okay.”

Tommy drags Tubbo into the kitchen and sits him down at the table. Tommy starts making himself a plate.

“Tommy calm down. Relax. Tubbo’s safe from Schlatt.”

“I mean I’m not,” Tubbo says. “I’m about as safe as you are from him.”

Dr. Rough laughs good naturally. “That you are. Welcome to my home.”

Tubbo hears the door open again. One set of steps goes up the stairs and one comes into the kitchen.

“Hey Dan,” Wilbur says. “Dad’s coming in a few minutes.” He grabs the serving spatula and cuts himself some food.

“And Jordan? I haven’t seen him in years.”

“Three hours?”

“What did you guys do?” Tubbo shrieks.

“Nothing.”

Technoblade walks down and sits next to Tommy. He severs himself a plate. “Thanks for the food Dan.”

Dan Rough shares a look with Tubbo. “Are you gonna serve yourself?”

Tubbo follows the crowd “Yep.”

Lani and Toby Maron go with Thomas Rough to the Swiss boarding school. Tommy and Tubbo their senior year, Lani her freshman.

Back in the city, Tubbo Jacobs just disappears, and Ranboo goes back to being alone first semester. Teachers still occasionally mess up and forget he’s not there anymore.

Come second semester, Ranboo is back on his bullshit because Tommy’s back in town. Rumors always rampant, but neither care. Over the course of the year Ranboo gets over himself, not that there was anything wrong with his previous train of thought.

Tommy reassured Ranboo that Tubbo was truly their friend, and Ranboo believed him.

He believed and trusted him so much that the three of them got a triple dorm at the university of their choice.

Ranboo is still really surprised that neither of them care that their friendship started because Tubbo was sent to kill Tommy. And that the murder jokes are still rampant.

But it’s home.

So, I’ve been watching DanDTM’s Tomadachi life living the dream series and I just had to draw some of his characters, I might redraw one of these and do it in full color

Either way, this was really fun, I might do it again, though probably after artfight because I have character refs to work on before I can do that

(I might do a poll on which sketch to finish, but we’ll see)
