whats the difference between the inuyasha anime and manga that you didnt like?
like, i can't speak for the WHOLE manga bc i'm not finished reading it yet haha;;; rn i'm only just starting reading chapter 174 :V
with THAT said, the general feel that i take is that the anime tended to unnecessarily increase the melodrama of some situations?? like, i just read the chapter that is the equivalent to episode 47, where kikyo pulls a knife on inuyasha; but kikyo was not that vicious in the manga and it kinda baffled me and my interpretation was the anime writers making her to me more of a "bad guy" in the audience's eyes welp;;;;
another example of unnecessary-in-my-opinion melodrama:
i know she calms down by the end of this, but it almost feels like they ended this scene/episode still pissed at each other, but in the manga
i feel like there’s… a quiet understanding and compromise there, even if it wasn’t spoken aloud by either of them. it’s short and sweet and I like it a lot more tbh ☺️
like, i know there’s bound to be a LOT more of opinions on anime vs manga out there by much longer time fans that are more full fledged than this, but hey, here’s a humble little opinion from a newbie fan haha;;
