Are there any pieces of biblical fiction that inspired you or that you enjoy?

i’m not actually a big fan of biblical fiction?? i was just talking to a friend about how much i dislike things like paradise lost and the divine comedy or even supernatural and good omens because they get basic theology wrong (also, for the purposes of this story im trying to avoid new testament stuff). I haven’t ever found old testament biblical fiction. The closest thing I’ve found to the genre that I’m aiming for is the novel Mara, Daughter of the Nile, which is historical fiction set in Ancient Egypt. If you’ve got any biblical fiction that you enjoy, I’d love to hear about it!

Tbh the fact that iceberg lettuce is basically useless food water makes it an even more effective punishment vegetable... Like it’s not even giving Noct’s body the vitamins and minerals it needs to grow... it’s just grossing him out... It’s a spite veggie...

It really was a revelation. “Mystery of Love” is such a stunningly beautiful song, and I’m slowly expanding into more of his discography.

And I usually don’t go for the “breathy indie singer guy” style, but he makes it work. Probably because he prefers very intricate orchestrations and such, versus just a guitar or a piano.

Yeah, I don't know how much you're familiar with the crew behind the concept pilot, but Hue's original VA Jake Sidwell (while still the show's composer) has been fighting severe Lyme Disease for a while now. Even if the studio hadn't wanted a bigger name to take the role, I suspect Jake wouldn't've been quite up to it. I do love him as an actor though, he's done a lot of other stuff with Olan (and short films of his own!)

Yes, I am sadly aware of this. I just meant that I’m glad Tom Kenny can do his voice justice, since Jake’s HUE had a very unique and haunting sound to it. I was not aware he made short films though, I’ll have to look them up! Regardless, I’m really glad Jake is still an essential part of Final Space’s production even while fighting chronic illness. That takes a lot of strength to do, and I can’t wait to hear his music when the show airs!

aww!! ;u; I'm not sure if it's for this reason but for me it made me realize I resort just to praying usually instead of asking other people for help and I forget they're in my life for a reason...;o;
