Thoughts on square getting caught using ai to make the new kingdom hearts collection cover art?

without definitive proof i have to go off of what i've read online. i saw someone say that nomura drew the art, but square used ai to pull the artwork and rearrange it for variations of the artwork.

which means nomura could have drawn the art and someone else at square pulled the ai trigger.

obviously i am very anti-ai and i'm upset for nomura if his artwork was butchered like that...
