Top 5 exotic foods?

exotic…hrmmm…do i eat anything exotic?? i don’t know? how about strange foods instead? i think just about everything i’ve made while i’m down in texas has gotten a strange look from the people i’m staying with. i don’t think they understand or accept the fact that i eat a plant-based diet, but whatever… 

1. falafel - i got the strangest look when i was making it and the girl i’m staying with said she had no idea what it was and asked me to explain it to her2. tempeh - it’s a less processed version of tofu, but i think it’s really good when prepared correctly. again i was met with looks of disgust. 3. green juice (kale, apple, ginger, lemon, parsley) - i got laughed at, but i don’t care cause it tasted super amazing4. tabbouleh - i made it fresh the other day and it was super delicious5. green curry - i really like ethnic food. i don’t really consider it exotic or strange, but then again nothing i eat is really exotic or strange. at best something is new or exciting, but then again that’s me.
