ive been using splat for a while now because cvs sells it and its cheap
it holds a strong color for like 4 weeks
i usually refresh it after 5-6 weeks
even when it fades though its still an okay color though

i’ve tried that before…….. and my hair is turquoise again. whoops. i’d say just keep getting trims and only bleach your roots (i used to bleach my whole head every couple months) and you’ll have minimal damage.
like i dont even bleach mine though
i have lightish hair and its dark blue dye so it works well without bleach
im just mad bored with plain hair
