T.V. Recap: Game of Thrones

Season 5 Episode 8- Hardhome Warning there will be spoilers...you will be warned Two more episodes and then it's done, another season gone. But we have two more episodes as I have said and we shall discuss tonight's episode. I thought I was going to start this review raving about Tyrion and Dany (which I will) but I can't focus on that because I need to discuss Jon Snow and that whole explosion of events. Jon visits the Wilding and I have pleasure of saying that I am proud of how strong he is and how much of a leader he is. As the season progressed, he has grown to be a leader and to have been someone people can look at and believe in. Tonight, he spoke to the Wilding with such conviction and such strength, it was making me want to join him. And so they did, they joined and all started boarding the ships when it happened...chaos happened. The White Walkers appeared and they shut off the gate leaving hundreds of people on the other side, waiting to become one. And so the fight ensued with me literally yelling at my T.V. saying "Oh my God." Words weren't able to leave my mouth except those three as I saw Jon run to the burning cabin where he was facing a leader of the White Walker (I believe he is one of the leaders.) His sword is thrown to the side as he try to fend off the White Walker, but he was strong and forceful with every blow. Jon is reunited wit his sword when we realize that his sword is able to fend off his staff. It didn't disaporate! He is able to kill him without the blades which made me jump for joy, but that didn't last for long. They made their way to the boat, barely escaping when the Prince walks to the deck and raises his arms. By now my friend has called me and we are both freaking out as to what is happening and soon the dead awake with crystal blue eyes. And I am just screaming as to what just happened. Since my rant with Jon Snow is over, I must move on to Tyrion and Dany, who I thought was going to be the main focus of my review. Their interaction was so enjoyable to watch, I loved how calculated it was and yet it moved so elegantly. He is to become her advisor to which is a brilliant move on her part to have someone like him. With Sir Jorah away, oh yeah he it banished again, she needs someone that will actually help her and tell it like it is. Tyrion is the man for that. And I can not wait to see the relationship between the two as the episodes progress. I will briefly talk about Cersei and how she is getting the karma she deserves. The dress is gone, the hair is down and in knots, and she is alone. She is getting what she deserves and I can not wait to see what is yet to happen to her. Other mentions that will be really brief: • Sansa finally finds out the truth! Bran and Rickon are not dead thanks to Theon finally telling her. • Arya is becoming more and more of a badass and I can not wait Overall this episode was by far the best one for me with the interaction between Tyrion and Dany and Jon Snow. The whole fighting scene stole my heart and truly captivated me with every angle and direction. This was the best episode, but I know it will be toppled by the next two episodes to air. I hope you enjoyed my review and I am anxious as ever for the next episode
