I haven't seen Roni inside his tank in a week and now he won't come out so we get to play That Game Every Snake Owner Plays At Some Point Or Repeatedly.

I'm going to have to take all that shit out of his tank cause all my digging around HAS NOT FOUND HIM, nor has the tapping of the food tongs summoned him like usual.

I always warm feeders in the kitchen, then carry them on a paper plate to whichever snake is the intended recipient. Jormungandr refused to eat this c.hick from the tongs, instead preferring to noodle out of his tank, sniff at the c.hick which I’d put back on the plate, and then eat it right off the plate while I stood there holding it what the hell child. I had to nudge his feeder-carrying face back into the tank in order to actually close the door.
Some ball pythons are shy about eating in front of humans. Jormungandr… is not.

Fun fact, if you are a snake owner and you watch Good Omens then you may wind up with random mental images of Aziraphale giving snake!Crowley a nice misting with Crowley’s plant misting bottle. Judging from my experience.
I miss Sedona :( She has been in blue the last couple days so she has been hiding and sleeping all the time and I can’t hold her. The hardest part of being a snake owner is definitely not being able to cuddle your baby when they are in blue or two days after eating!
