Happy 1 year anniversary to “A Lying Witch and a Warden”, a.k.a episode 1 of The Owl House!!! Can’t believe it’s been a whole year since Owl House came out and honestly it’s been amazing. This show has made a huge impact on me in just a year, and i can’t wait for more. Anyways, here’s a screenshot redraw from episode 1 that I decided to do for TOH’s first birthday

also: life update, for those of you who might be interested

i’m still in school - almost finished with my bachelors. i’m an editor for the criminal justice department and am about to have a scholarly journal published for the first time. also hoping to submit a book of my own for publication later this year. *fingers crossed*

my sister is going to make me an aunt for the first time!! i’m very excited for my niece/nephew to arrive later this year

some people i taught as a missionary way back when named their daughter after me - so i’ll be returning to ohio in about two months to see all my people and to meet my new namesake (seriously, biggest most beautiful compliment in the world - when i found out, i cried for like an hour. a friend can testify)

will have a new sister in law this summer. way to go, older brother of mine 

in between a surprisingly busy social life and classes, i work and attempt to write stories with various levels of success.
