[ ● ] Tommy got an apartment not too far from the Kaplan's home. He reasoned it was a good deal, but in complete truth he simply didn't want to stay that far. Tommy had a lot going on under his facade: loneliness and a longing to actually belong somewhere. He'd rather act rash than talk it out, it didn't suit him. He didn't want anyone to see him weak. He's a hero now. For once, he had a purpose.

He leaned over the ledge on top of the roof of the Kaplan's apartment, a place he'd called home for a few months. It was a guilty place, where he'd settle on slow days. He hoped no one would ever find that out. He was still hoping real hard when he tensed up the moment he felt someone else's presence “ T- Teddy? ”

—— ϟ ::  "Mom and dad will be home in about an hour." He wasn't sure if it was just him or his brother's seemed to be a little agitated - excited about something he wasn't aware of. He gave them a wary look, but he knew that they could take care of themselves - it'll only be an hour anyway. The two had matching grins of mischief that made Billy think Tommy may have gotten to them at one point, as far as he remember they were both little angels. "There's some caramel bars on the counter, they're all yours." The youngest one made a beeline to the kitchen while the other told him to have fun on his date; nothing out of the ordinary there right? But the question is: Why was he looking for something out of the ordinary?

He sighed and got his coat from the closet downstairs. Usually their dates would include playing on their DS, or talking over new comics and eating out at a pizzeria or a burger place. Although a date at the American Museum of Natural History? - this is the perfect kind of date for Teddy and him, he's been to their planetarium before and it was for field trip at school - he'd heard about so many things about the new exhibit, all digital and advanced; he's not quite sure what to expect, but he's partly excited, and anxious - for reasons that seemed to escape him at the moment.

"Ready?" He smiled at his boyfriend.
