1000/10 great team dad would 100% try and fail to hug because he’s so tall and strong that my tiny arms probably can’t even go around his waist

Jokes aside, I rather liked the way his and Barrel’s characters were handle in the anime ! The two versions of them, actually x)  With a slight preference for Beyondard!version, even if it’s the less developed version of the two, because I’m a sucker for angsty AUs and the Beyondard arc literally gave me everything I didn’t even know I wanted :’)

I could’ve called Capcom out for making Colonel the archetype of the heartless, cold AI, but it actually makes a bit of sense with his first version in the anime, since he belongs to the first generation of NetNavis. And I sure LOVE to see him warm up to other Navis around him, so I won’t complain ;w;

I especially like these two (I can hardly dissociate them from each other haha) in the manga too ;w; And their roles as official team dads is even more obvious in the games, which fuels my need to restart a game of BN5 Team Colonel right now :’)

IMPORTANT QUESTION: if someone told colonel that they’d die for him would he say “I’d die for you first” or “please don’t” I’m making a team colonel alignment chart and I feel like perhaps three netnavis will be Please Dont

oh my oh my that is such a good question and I am very unsure :O

The chivalrous knight he is would definitely say “I’d die for you first”, but if we see him more as the team dad who is tired of all his kids’ bullshit, he’s definitely gonna look (down) at them with that same disappoitment stare again and be like “Please. Don’t.”
