i just blame their inactivity. like of course when he did something they were like ‘stop, that’s not okay’ but they never talked to him after. i wonder if they ever once sat him down and told him what happened wasn’t her fault that what happened TO her doesn’t devalue her as a person and it shouldn’t mean you treat her differently no matter how the kids at school are. there is a reason why this keeps happening, it’s not all erased just because he’s apologied and saw a counsellor for like two weeks.
