She was a very clever and very bored teenager and spent a lot of time finding ways to spy on her mother (difficult to do; Rebecca is careful*, but Dani was committed). As a result she knew her mother had a team of "vampires" but assumed this was a code name for some type of specialists. Imagine her fucking face when she met Unit "We're Super Not Vampires Hehe" Bravo for the first time
Has only had brief, largely unnattached romantic relationships. Not much of a dating pool in Wayhaven, particularly for a lesbian 😅
She has a very positive relationship with her mother that she's never let herself examine for too long. But the secrets just keep coming out and sometime soon, probably by book 4, things are going to shatter
There was some concern when she was younger about her birthmark being so close to her eyes but she has regular eye checkups and it's been fine thus far 🤷♀️
She'd never admit this, but part of what interested her in Morgan initially was the idea of her being a challenge. A sort of test to see if she was lovable... it went beyond that pretty quickly.

Dani (left) is really good with people so she managed to both dupe the auctioneer and make friends with Sin, meaning things went just about as smoothly as they could have. Gold star for Dani.
