Disclaimer: misgendering hurts even more than incorrect binding

How would Robin react to misgendering? Is he the kind of bloke that gets pissed off or the kind that gets home and cries in the corner of the shower? (I'm the second)

Something tells me Dani is the one that gets pissed off when he hears someone misgendering his bae

P.S. Anyone reading this, you can make someone incredibly happy simply by calling them how they ask you to. Sometimes not even their loved ones do. 🏳️‍⚧️🫂

Helloooo, okay so in the story a lot of people in his daily life misgenders Robin because he's a trans guy that

1. Hasn't came out to his parents in like half of the story, and he was born into a Christian household, so a lot of shame and not wanting to be outcasted for a long time, made him not want to tell a lot of people that he was trans, only Dani, Miguel, Dani's sister Charlie knew, and he was fine with it.

2. He hasn't started any type of medical transition thru the majority of the story.

So he, in his own mind, thinks that, if he doesn't look "manly enough" with what balls he holds to ask for people to name him by the correct gender. It's a subject in the story that will be touch upon a lot, of how trans people often feel like they need to reach a certain point of passing to be able to deserve to be called for who they are. And it is something that he has to work on and will work on.

Dani is one of the first people he ever mention of not feeling like a girl, and he was very chill about it. Until Robin felt like he was ready to be referred to as He/Him, Dany did so. But that doesn't mean that Dani is this magnificent perfect friend. He also messes up sometimes and doesn't understand it other times. And doesn't see the problem in stuff Robin gets angry or upset about. So it's definitely a process and growing both of them overcome.

I wanted to make real characters not perfect ones, and at the end it says it on the title ahafdagac they were both idiots.

Robin has the whole christian upbringing (Shout-out to La Venida del Señor btw) and he's not out to a lot of people.

I'm curious about Dani's character development and background!

I'm SO excited!!!!!

Dani character is omg, Now, I will be able to explore the trans experience from someone who knew at a really young age from someone who had the privilege to transition early in life. From someone who has passed from most of his life.

Dani goes from bullying Robin as kids to falling head over heals for him.
