Where had that stupid cat gone to? “Winifred!” Dani called out, making small clicking noises to hopefully coax the cat out of hiding. It was almost ironic that after naming her cat after one of the Sanderson sisters, the cat took on a personality that was almost as frustrating as the witch herself. A sigh of exasperation fell from the redhead’s lips as she continued searching high and low, her gaze settling on an man a few feet away. “Hey! Have you seen a brown and white cat around here?”
Thackery perked up when he heard the ever familiar voice of his wife, a bright grin on his face as he turned down. But, it was quick to shift to slightly out of surprise. He stepped forward and reached out to touch the other’s cheek in an attempt to ensure that this was indeed not an illusion. “Dear, don’t tell me you’ve joined the Sanderson sisters and gained eternal youth,” he teased, though he was actually very much unsure how else this could be.
