I don’t know who the art director was over at Windham Hill, but they did some incredible work. They were like the Blue Note of New Age.
Downtown Margaretville, New York; photo taken September 20, 2008 by Daniel Case. If I have my bearings right, the Pocantico Inn (from the previous post) would have been out of sight beyond the green building at the extreme right of this photo. Also out of sight to the right is the East Branch of the Delaware River, which runs behind all the buildings on the right side of the street above. An indelible memory involving Margaretville is teaching my daughter how to drive a stick shift on a large pickup truck here--she did pretty well.
