Daniel Johnston 1961-2019 In honour of the wonderful songs of Daniel Johnston, we're hosting an evening of his songs, performed live by an array of great Berlin artists (lineup tbc). If you don't know his music, he wrote funny, poignant and sweetly naive songs, often super lo-fi with just a tape recorder and a chord organ, and counted musicians like Kurt Cobain as fans. Show is free entrance but donations will be collected for the 'Hi, how are you Foundation', which is a mental health charity run out of Daniel's honorary hometown, Austin TX.

O amor verdadeiro de Daniel Johnston me encontrou no final das contas

Eu deveria estar finalizando o roteiro do programa Debbie Records pra Brasil 2000, que vou gravar daqui a pouco, e vai ao ar amanhã, especial dia das mulheres (sim, mais um especial de minas e vai ter mais).

E, assim como esperado, estou obscenamente atrasada, porém obcecada por essa versão de “True Love Will Find You in The End”, da cantora/projeto/banda “Marina Gasolina”.

Vejam bem (E ME PRENDAM, FODA-SE), nem sou uma huge fan de Daniel Johnston. Tendo a implicar com hype de indie. Mas essa versão pegou aqui, num cantinho escondido meu, onde não se pega. 

E agora eu tô atrasada, obcecada e me expondo.

Queria mto colocar essa faixa no programa especial das mulheres, mas infelizmente ela não está disponível pra download :(

De qqr forma, queria deixar registrado o trampo genial da moça.

E que isso não se faz. 

Pegar nos cantinhos escondidos dos outros.
