Es básicamente una fantasía Pinscreen, uno de esos juguetes escritorio ejecutivo que le permite crear un modelo en 3-D en bruto de un objeto pulsando en una cama de alfileres aplanados. Con inFORM, cada uno de esos "pasadores" está conectado a un motor controlado por un ordenador portátil , que no sólo puede mover las clavijas para hacer que los contenidos digitales se manifiesten físicamente, sino que también puede registrar objetos de la vida real interactuando con su superficie gracias a los sensores de un hackeado utilizando Kinect de Xbox.
