Okay there

I took a break from it for a while because I got distracted but I finished uploading my vampire novel Enthralling to AO3 (and Wattpad too but who cares about that place)

It was fully done in like. 2017 but I have edited it and such since and I'm glad to now have it fully uploaded online where others can read it. It's a pretty simple story but I'm still pretty proud of it as a novel-length original work that I actually finished.

So! If anyone wants to read a teen romance novel about a vampire accidentally hypnotizing his best friend and having to travel cross country with him to meet up with a more experienced vampire who can undo the spell, here ya go!

Enthralling

Summary: When the new and inexperienced vampire Mason Hollis accidentally hypnotizes his best friend Daniel Vigil with a thrall spell, they both end up traveling cross country to meet up with the only person Mason knows who might be able to undo it, while also navigating a world still struggling to come to terms with the existence of vampirism. The journey will only bring them closer together. Rating: Teen Word Count: 49,401 Chapters: 20

EXTREMELY rough draft of what I’d like the cover of my book to look like. It was meant to be more obvious they’re holding hands between them but I drew them too close together, oops. I like these poses but I’m gonna have to leave the drawing of the car they’re sitting on, as well as the forest background, to a much more talented artist than myself. This was mostly just to get my idea on paper. Attempts were made. Ugh cars are awful. Enjoy. :’D

Oh and yeah I know the angle of Mason’s right leg is awful but ehh I don’t feel like trying to redraw it, especially as this is just a concept idea that I’ll probably show to whoever I commission. They can work it out better than me.

Working on inking this drawing of Mason and Daniel at Pride. Also featuring Robin and Kaitlynn, their classmates. I may fix Robin's body type before I continue on with the inking though because I imagine her being stockier than that. Fully inked version will be posted once I'm done. :D

I finally colored it in. Here’s Mason Hollis and Daniel Vigil, the protagonists of my novel. Which I am still working on, I just recently finished chapter 12 and will probably begin chapter 13 soon. It’s gonna need a lot of editing once it’s done but hey, I’m working on it.

Alright. I got designs down for Mason and Daniel that I can be happy with. I’ll color this eventually but for now, here they are. Daniel’s holding his snake because why not, I wanted him to be doing something with his hand. Her name is Snowflake and she’s a white (not albino, just white) ball python.

And don’t let Daniel’s outfit fool you. He’s not a punk or hardcore or anything, he just really likes leather jackets and combat boots. Those are his #aesthetic

But yep, those are my protagonists. Eventually I’ll probably commission someone to draw them much better than I can, but for now, I’m satisfied with this. Stay tuned for the (eventual) colored version. :D
