          ‘ daniel ? ’     lance walked into his brother’s place quickly, looking around not caring if he got someone over or not.  eyes darting around the place, he walked into his bedroom, not realizing he probably should have knocked in his slightly panicked state.  thankfully, his brother was presentable and he immediately approached him, grabbing his arms gently to look at his face.     ‘ daniel  --  you okay ? ’

note :  “ merry fucking christmas, loser !  hope you like the hoodie/pillow thing i got you, but of course you will.  it’s like one of the coolest things i’ve seen and strangely, it made me think of you.  have an amazing one brother, get up to no good and turn down for fun on christmas and don’t, really, don’t agree to the christmas dinner that father suggests, i sad absolutely NO !  anyway, have a good one from your dearest brother.  p.s: do not try to sell the signed portrait, i’ll know ! ”

greg had the day free from work, so he’d been at home, busying himself with chores.  his daughter had texted him, telling him that she’d be round later. so when he heard a knock at the door, he thought it would be her. but a different face greeted him at the door, "ya' here for clary?” greg asks giving the young man a smile, “she’s not here yet. but uh -- ya’ welcome to wait in the living room”.
