Dimitrescu Daughters Headcanon

I find it interesting that the Dimitrescu daughters are the only characters in re8 who have bright yellow eyes (I know that Alcina is sometimes depicted with yellow eyes but when you look closely at her in-game character model as seen in the picture above they are more of a grey colour with a bit of brown, so not the same as her daughters), and I have a theory/ headcanon for why this might be.

Since their transformation, the Dimitrescu daughters are essentially made up of insects/ flies imitating human anatomy. And one thing about insects is that they do not have blood like humans do, but instead possess a fluid called hemolymph in their circulatory system. Since hemolymph does not contain red blood cells or hemoglobin to give it a red pigment (like in human blood), it can often be yellow/amber in colour depending on the insect's diet. And blowflies specifically (the ‘Insect Observations Journal’ game file indicates that the Dimitrescu daughters’ insects are most similar to blowflies in anatomy) often have yellow hemolymph. So I’m wondering if this is linked to why specifically the Dimitrescu daughters are the only ones in the game with this eye color and if it’s a nod to their insect-adjacent biology (just like their susceptibility to cold temperatures), since I am assuming this unnatural eye colour is a side effect of their Cadou transformation and not something they had when they were human (hence why all three of them have it).

I’m not sure if this has been talked about before but it got me thinking and I believe it’s definitely an interesting (although probably coincidental) choice by the developers, and makes for a cool headcanon.
