That's what I thought, which I don't mind. They're fairly spot on to the movie as is. One more question - do you know if there are any official instrumental(s) to either Sarah's single with Steve Harley or the original london cast production? I have an instrumental from what I believe is the 25th anniversary, but I've dying for the 87 instrumental for a while. I think that high school productions use it a lot. Thanks!

Yeah, there’s about three different ones gifted here.

Among them include: instrumental highlights which one person claimed was used by the Japanese production (notably it does not include music for the second “Help me to say goodbye” at the end of ‘Wishing’, and you can hear the echo of Sarah Brightman’s high E at the end of the title song), a “complete instrumental” which I’m not sure which production it’s from (might be the same as yours, might not), and “instrumentals” from the UK tour, which again might be the same as yours. (I also say “instrumentals” because it’s actually a recording from the orchestra, so sometimes you can hear the singing, though it’s pretty faint.)

Hi! Please forgive me if this was already asked - but I looked through your FAQ and didn't see this already answered. I recently downloaded the POTO 2004 movie instrumentals, but some of them seem like excerpts and are cut off at some point and seem incomplete. Is that just the way they were available or is it just me. Thank you! And thank you for sharing all that you do, from one Phan to another. :)

That’s the way they are, I believe.

From what I remember reading, the 2004 instrumentals are not “official” instrumentals in the sense of them being released that way or anything. I think they are “fan-made”, in that someone took the music from the movie (or movie soundtrack, possibly) and did some audio editing to take out as much of the singing as possible. So that would probably explain a lot of that.

Just stumbled upon your blog, and I just wanted to say that I think what you guys are doing is wonderful. I hate the term "passable", and hate when people don't see me as a woman (or rather simply a human being with feelings, a heart, and a brain) and view me as "just a boy in a dress and makeup", when a transgender woman is so much more than that. If anything, I feel like we are more "womanly" than natural women are, because we love to be who we are - simply women. Thanks for this blog. <3

1. Favorite singers or/and bands? Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey, Michael Jackson, Frank Ocean, Tom Petty, Elton John, Sia, Olly Murs, Jake Bugg, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Kanye, Wayne, Drake,  (rappers, but still) the list goes on.

Zeppelin, RHCP, Metallica, Matchbox 20, Rolling Stones, The Pretty Reckless, My Chemical Romance, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, One Direction, The Fray, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ACDC, 3 Doors Down, Radiohead, Alice In Chains, Fallout Boy, many more. I don't ever have a favorite when it comes to music. I love them all equally. But Gaga of course is my favorite artist, cos she changed my life. The rest are just a tiny bit below her.

2. The last book you read? Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me by Mindy Kaling. Currently reading a book called Essential Tales and Poems - Edgar Allan Poe.  It's just his poems & stories, but I guess that's pretty obvious by the title. Also reading The Love Machine by Jacqueline Susann. Not really impressed I was hoping it would be as good as Valley Of The Dolls, but so far there are only a few similarities. That was by far her best book.
