Begrudgingly Domestic

Few months after THIS pic where they're more settled into their new lives.

Lincoln's still pretty busy after taking over the city, maybe even more so now. As for John, he's mostly homebound since he can't really cover up his body in a more convincing way now, and it's driving him stir crazy.

It's like super early in the morning and Lincoln got back home late, finding John crashed on the couch.

Sorry if the dialog is OOC, I suppose the situation specifically drove Lincoln to say all those sappy pet names;;🙈

I can't draw rn but I wanted to do something about the fact these kids exist when peak accessible children's programming was brand new in real life.

Like, Nov. 1969 Sesame Street premiers and Danielle was born like, around July of the same year. The idea of Donovan watching these with the kids is really funny and I think he'd get into it and really likes the Muppet Show when it comes out.

Jesse was born premature due to the high stress environment and another factor why he was given up for adoption/sent to the States shortly after being born

Rhys was also born premature cause his parent being on the run after a political assassination was a stupid idea but this time he was born in a place with medical staff so it's fine

I am still reading about what kinda conditions some premature babies are born with + have as they age. I know like, in the case of Jesse he was born at 35 weeks and Rhys nearly made it to the 37 week mark....like 36.5 lol. Not like super critical times but still need some extra care.

My whole thing with Rhys is when I first made him I always imagined him being a gloomy kid that gets into the goth scene in the 80s, but also sickly which leads to him being gloomy but also with a morbid fascination with certain things. He's loved and cared for but you know having chronic issues is hard especially with the time period and also confronting the reality your parents and family friends are all involved in crime in some way.

Jesse is very underdeveloped tho but thats fine since even in the story of the AU he's been adopted out into some nice well off northeastern family so whatever conditions he may have they're probably getting treatment. Might try to do something with him if I ever make like...an AU branching off the main cringe AU lol

Dani and the Twins are vibing tho health wise. They're all just kinda "quirky" (the neurodivergence in this family is very much inherited)
