Tommy Angelo
Canon: In canon Tommy has one daughter Julia and an unnamed son. Personally, this is outrageous to me lol - you telling me that this man- this stud- this walking advertisement for why adorable and sweet things exist only had TWO kids? I don't know how Sarah did it! How'd she keep her hands off him?!
Head canon: IMO he seems like a four-kid maximum, two kid minimum kind of man. He seems like a sleepy baby so the more kids there are the less sleep he and the wife can get, which is a no go.
HC Children: Four kids. Three girls and one boy. Julia came first, then her brother and then her two sisters. I like the idea of the first boy having the name Thomas Paul Angelo (yes, he's named for Paulie who I head canon as godfather of any of Tommy's children - IDK why I think proper responsibility would make Paulie kind of clean up his act...)
Paulie Lombardo
Canon: No children of Paulie Lombardo are known to canonically exist. A certain SOMEONE cut this beautiful tiramisu man off at what could have been his prime 'becoming a husband and father time' - so we'll never know if Paulie got his happy ending because his life was abruptly ended. Might I say... HAG MOVE HANGAR 13 - HAG MOVE!!!
Head canon: I really think that given the chance, Paulie would have been a great dad and husband. I think it would have been hard adjusting to the slower life and cutting certain things out. I HC that he quit drinking bc she made him so happy and when she confessed concerns about his health, he was all too happy to put the bottle down. She hates smoking he'll stop that too - it's not good for the little tyke anyway.
HC Children: Eight children total. Spread out. Five boys, three girls. Once he settled into family life he settled. He wants to give his kids what he didn't have. A loving father. (I once saw a headcanon where he had 6-12 KIDS like dayum! 3 boys & 3 girls or 6 boys and 6 girls whoowee!)
Needless to say, Paulie makes his mother very happy with all the grandbabies he and his wife give her.
Sam Trapani (*insert barf emoji here*)
Canon: No children of Samuel Trapani are known to exist canonically.
Head canon: This depends. I have a little head canon that he got Michelle pregnant, and she had the baby after leaving Lost Heaven. (I think she gets found and killed later on... not sure tho; I do also HC that she felt like something was going to happen, so she entrusted the baby to a good friend of hers) So there's that possible child. Also, Sam was a ladies' man so... he could have had an illegitimate child here and there - but I'm thinking it'd be a rare thing, especially if it was with a Corleone girl. You really think that a-hole manager would let one of his money makers have a baby, waste time and lose cash out of his pocket? No way. Unless he knew it was Sam's and feared repercussions? She was probably forced to take something.
HC Children: A daughter with Michelle. With her father's eyes and charm and her mother's beauty. If I put him with an OC of mine? Weeellll it varies. If he's a yandere he baby traps her with twin boys. If he's just Sam she manages to wrangle a boy and a girl out of him.
Vito Scaletta (might I say DAYUM he looks good in the photo above...)
Canon: No children of Vittorio Antonio Scaletta are known to exist canonically. (Unless you go on the very underdeveloped Mafia wiki fan page)
Head canon: Six children. Four boys and two girls. Vito seems the most domestic to me of the Mafia 2 men trio. I also - as per usual am delulu and do not accept the sad and untimely death of his mother SO Mama Scaletta is a nonna six times over and delighted! The girls look like Vito and three of the boys take after their mother with one being a perfect blend of them both.
HC Children: If Vito remains a made man (aka nothing bad that happens in the game happens & he goes to Vinci's family instead bc of Galante w/Joe following after Clemente's $5 grand 'initiation fee' scam) I would say six children. Four boys and two girls still. He makes more $$$ in this one and once the young and dumb nouveau riche thing wears off in his late twenties - he's a serious family man. A very sweet husband and dedicated papa. He has the money to keep his wife pampered and in a fine house, as he thinks she deserves, as well as take care of any baby they make.
If things go in canon and he gets shipped off to New Bordeaux, I'd say four kids. Three boys and one girl. His rascals and little princess. Only two of his three sons are invested in the "business" (ahem... CRIME) - while the other wants to be a doctor. His daughter is a wonderful chef and it's looking like she'll be taking over Vito's restaurant when he's ready to retire with the missus.
Henry Tomasino (Again I am delulu and not care if he died, he's ALIVE - damn you look good in that suit, who TH gave you permission to look so good? And that lil smile... I'd die if he gave it to me OMLIH)
Canon: No children of Henry Tomasino are known to exist canonically. (F-ING TRAGEDY HIS GENES HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL)
Head canon: Would be a good dad imo. Not too emotional, but he would love his kids. Strict, trad-Italian-Sicilian father, thoughtful and very loyal provider, and husband (to say nothing of the hidden passion I think this man REEKS of). Maybe he's not showy, but he makes up for it in actions and notices things and always remembers the small stuff. This man doesn't forget an anniversary or one of his babies' birthdays. I think he would be fine with either, but have a slight preference for sons - he's better suited to them after having all brothers himself growing up. I can see him doting on a beautiful little girl and enjoying the hell out of her clinging to his legs and stepping on top of his oxfords to dance. (Joe might ask, "Are those tiny footprints on ya leather oxfords?" and Henry would reply, "Yes. Yes they are." with a proud ass smile on his face)
HC Children: Hmmm, it depends on his situation, but I'd say anywhere from 3-6.
If he's gotten out of the mafia and he's in Witness Protection, I'd say fewer bc he'd have to be ready to haul his family off for protection if someone caught onto his trail.
If he's still made and doesn't get butchered bc he's SMART instead of da BIG DUMB and stays away from droogs - then he'd dip big time into those made man savings and really settle into the godfather (minus being a misogynistic ass) style life. A little garden in the back, quiet mornings with coffee and prayers uttered before breakfast, smiling softly as he watches his kids play in the backyard. Maybe lying on a chaise lounge in the library with his wife, holding hands and reading while listening to their daughter playing the piano, or helping his younger sons with their Sicilian and his older sons recite the catechism.
Just thinking of those boys running into Henry and his wife's bedroom early in the morning and jumping into bed to wake them up all rowdy, making them both laugh as they attempt to wrangle them. Once the boys are settled in their arms, happily tucked in between them, their daughter comes in all prim and proper and taps Henry's shoulder, holding her hands out. Henry just chuckles and reaches down to hoist his little girl into his arms to join the pile, and they all sleep for another hour.
Joe Barbaro
Canon: No children of Joseph Barbaro are known to exist canonically.
Head canon: LINCOLN CLAY. I don't care what anyone else says - HE.IS.JOE'S.SON. I will accept no other opinion. Muchas gracias, molto grazzi, merci beaucoup!!!
HC Children: Lincoln Clay. IDC what anyone says I breathe this theory into my lungs the same as oxygen, and it makes me feel fulfilled in my obssession with this game. If I pair him with an OC? Probably 2 girls and 1 boy - I think Joe enjoys the uhhhh 'physcial quality time' with the mother a lil TOO MUCH for it to be making a baby every time he's on her like wet is on water LOL.
Lincoln Clay (WHY.T.F.does he look so good covered in gasoline, vegetable oil, and blood? Why am I attracted to it??)
Canon: No children of Lincoln Clay are known to exist canonically.
Head canon: I'd say maybe... five. Three girls and two boys. They're all strong and kind like him and the best of their mother that Lincoln loves so much.
HC Children: Three girls and two boys, and they all look SO different from each other but all share VERY distinct traits of their mother and father. I personally ship him with an OC of mine who is a white woman (bc fxck 60's extremist racism - think if he runs New Bordeaux it would pave the way for other interacial couples to embrace their love openly, the way Lincoln and she would. BC he'd be so powerful no one could touch them in that AU). I think it would a situation of - some babies have Lincoln's skin, some have hers, and the other is a beautiful blend of both because honestly interacial genetics get SO interestingly complex LOL. I think he'd be very nervous but SO gentle and try so hard to love them as they deserve - and if someone is racist to his woman or children? Have fun moving underground permanently.
John Donovan (I swear every other scene he's smoking but why does he look so good doing it?? WHY?)
Canon: No children John Donovan are known to exist canonically.
Head canon: Now this lovable Irish a-hole never saw himself settling down. Falling in love with her and starting a family hit him in the face the same way Connor b-chface Aldridge used to. I think it's quite easy to imagine him as a flighty kind of guy when it comes to love and commitment - but after seeing a clip of him seeming sad that his NY girl dumped on him to marry some accountant, and Lincoln comforted him about it? I'm convinced that this man is like a chocolate cake - he's got layers. He wants love. He just hasn't been with the right one to give him the love he needs.
HC Children: This man has four girls. He just says girl dad to me for some reason... I think it's the non stereotypical mindset he has. Not being like everyone back then and giving people an equal chance and treatment. He seems like he wouldn't be an a-hole to a female CIA recruit just bc she's a female. A type of empowering man that doesn't look down on you for superficial stuff ya know? I think he'd raise all of his daughters to be lil knife weilding badasses and I just KNOW that Lincoln would either be the fun uncle or the god father, certainly somewhere in the picture as John's bestfriend.
(I seem to have two distinct images in my head... one is of a baby girl that has his hair and it's so curly and she's just the SWEETEST lil baby ever that LOVES her papa - and another where John is doing work and holding the baby in his lap as she takes a nap. I can distinctly imagine him with a little baby girl just snoozing peacefully against his chest as he goes over files or taps into phone coversations and it makes my heart flutter GOOD LORD)
Note: I realized while making this post that only ONE of these men canonically has a child/children. Tommy has a daughter and a son. The only way this would change is if the *Joe's Son* conspiracy theory was accepted aka Lincoln Clay being the unknown love child of Joe. Other than that? No other character on this list has children - at least that we know of. (Personally I DO accept the conspiracy theory)
