“Yes Means Yes: The Musical!”
When I read the 1,699 word article with the above title on Slate, I found it highly interesting. While the point of the article was to discuss what colleges are doing to educate their student body on the new “Yes Means Yes” affirmative consent standard, the word alcohol did not appear once.
Likewise, nowhere in the 1,699 word article did it discuss the feminist proposition that a woman who is drinking can be considered too intoxicated to consent, such that “Yes Means Nothing,” and a rape charge can be filed against a male (though not a female) the next day or even the next month, even if a woman consented with a “Yes” beyond a doubt.

Stopping rape is a noble endeavor we should all get behind. However, once you read the above story you will understand “Yes Means Yes” is not just a fraud, but a hypocritical one at that.
