Film after film: Midnight Run (dir. Martin Brest, 1988)
Despite featuring the most obnoxious soundtrack in a few entertaining and relaxed chase scenes, it was a more pleasant watch than I expected. It's one of the films whose cover I saw all the time in VHS rental shops. Grodin and De Niro are a great couple of leads, never overplaying or chasing broad comedy laughs, which would be quite easy here. Others are pretty good too, especially Kotto, who steals scenes as a permanently pissed FBI agent.
