Hahaha, this is another little scene that crossed my mind when I was working on the isekai story about Danielle (blatantly obviously me, because I wanted to and no one could stop me). I can share the whole thing with you because it's pretty short.
She kissed him back hungrily, touching his face, running her fingers over his silky hair. When he broke the kiss, she stared at him with a loving yet penetrating gaze.
"Why are you lookin' at me like that?" Geldis murmured with a small, self-conscious smile, and as usual, Danielle thrilled at the deep richness of his voice. She continued looking into his eyes and stroking his face and hair as she answered.
"We have humans of other races on my world, but we don't have... other... SPECIES, I guess you'd say, who look like us but... AREN'T. It's just... fascinating to me, to look into your fiery eyes and realize... YOU'RE NOT HUMAN. And I'm definitely not complaining! It's just strange and unreal and wonderful to me. And that reminds me that I'm on a whole different planet, possibly in a whole different galaxy, or even a whole different universe! In the grand scheme of things, I don't REALLY know where I am, but I know I'm on Nirn, in Tamriel, on Solstheim, with you, Geldis. And this is where I want to be. I thank whatever god or gods allowed me to come here."
"Well, I don't," Geldis replied with an impish twinkle in his eye.
Danielle feigned indignance with a disbelieving look and a light punch to his shoulder.
"I wasn't such a sappy s'wit before you came along," the mischievous Dunmer continued. "You've ruined me, ye have!"
"Is that such a bad thing?" she replied with a coy smile, inclining her chin toward him for another kiss.
