I'm Lady Tanithia (with a space) on Discord, and FWIW, I have a server called Miranja's Boudoir (by invitation) with only 4 people on it so far. I hardly rate an entire server, but a Russian reader suggested it because in Russia it's about the only thing that works consistently for him, and he seems to think I'll have thousands of fans someday. Hahahaha!

I'm 55 going on 27, with 3 adult kids (25, 27, and 36) who are gamers and got me into gaming about 15-ish years ago (Animal Crossing, Pokemon Pearl, Phoenix Wright, Ocarina of Time, etc.). I've been a part of the fan fiction/fan art world for about 3 years now. I started writing and drawing again after a VERY long hiatus because I was so inspired by Breath of the Wild. I wrote one complete story with an OC, a modern AU one-shot, and started two others (one for Link, one for Zelda) that have gone by the wayside, especially now that Tears of the Kingdom is out. Started out doing crappy colored pencil drawings and graduated to digital art in February 2023 when my daughter gave me a used iPad with ProCreate. Game changer!

After obsessing over BotW for about a year, a friend of mine (now deceased) got me into his favorite game of all time, Skyrim. He realized before he died that he had created a monster - hopefully he was at peace about it when he passed on. 😉I was able to draw him a picture of his SECOND favorite character, Frea, before he left this plane.

My first Skyrim fanfic is still unfinished; it's from the POV of my first player character, Balinor, a male Khajiit. It's on AO3 as "Khajiit: Stranger in a Strange Land." I've published numerous smutty Skyrim one-shots involving my OC, Miranja Laurentius (aka The Slutty Dragonborn, a good girl who just really likes sex and falls in love a bit too easily), and I've started four longer works that are still in progress. I've drawn and shared some random Skyrim fan art and quite a few illustrations for my stories featuring Miranja and her various lovers. The illustrations are peppered throughout The Best-Laid Plans Oft Go Awry, Dalliances with Dunmer, and Out of the Ashes, and all my art is also featured on my DA page and my Tumblr (in the links at the top).

I was just talking about Lil Dude on Friday. How voracious he was, how trusting he was, how I found him dead on my birthday when he was only 8 months old, and how my son had to bury him in the back yard. I still cry thinking about him, and it's been almost two years. It's been even longer for Prince and Yuki, but I still think and talk about them, too.

I am whatever the opposite of a speed runner is. I am a game meanderer. I have to look at literally everything. I am overly cautious in every way. I forget to pause and wander away from the game. I take a minimum 7 hours to get through any given level. If you give me a timer I will cry.

OMG, an actual WIP!

It’s not Wednesday, but I finally felt motivated to work on something. This is my mental image of a friend’s character, Nathan. Nathan is a kindhearted thief with a raccoon sidekick named Kohrn, who will also be in the pic, but one step at a time. My friend’s story is fantasy based in a world of his own making called Zaria. He’s a Christian writer who's done a self-published series called Heroes and Thieves and has his own website for it and all his other writings. Here's his website, if anyone is interested!

As you can see, I always get one eye done and then get paralyzed worrying about getting the other eye to match.

a feel like the new generation of fanfic readers NEED to understand that clicking on a fic (interaction) does nothing. ao3 has no algorithm. your private discord discussions of fic do not reach the authors. if you do not actively engage with writers they will stop posting. this isn’t social media this is community.

Ooo, looky what I found! Thank you, Tumblr! And thank you, jodeeeart for creating her!

She reminds me of all the awesome comic book covers my dad used to collect when I was a kid. Lots of Frank Frazetta. Can't remember all of them, but there was Vampirella, Eerie, and Creepy, for sure.

My first exposure to fantasy art was these comic books, and then there were calendars and book covers by Frazetta and other artists like Boris Vallejo and the Brothers Hildebrand. It was the cover of The Sword of Shannarah, painted by the Brothers Hildebrand, that got me into reading fantasy. Terry Brooks' story kept me into it.
