red: how was your first kiss? what do you love about yourself? when’s the last time you warmed your hands in front of a fire? would you rather watch a sunrise or sunset? what’s the best thing about summer?
oh my god my first kiss was hilariously bad/slobbery, that whole first date is a hilariously bad awkward story that epitomizes 15 year old me. i love my resilience - it has been both a blessing and a curse, no matter what i keep coming back and trying to accomplish certain things when i’m struggling and that is the only reason i’m in grad school and why i still run. the last fire was when i visited my parents at the end of March and it was cold enough that we still had the wood burning stove going. sunrises, always. summers are warmth and 15 hours of sunlight and life blooming and hiking and freedom.
yellow: if you could have any view from your bedroom window what would you choose? what’s your favorite thing to do on a sunny day? what do you consider lucky? what made you smile today? what makes you happy?
mountains or the ocean - i think i prefer the mountains though. sunny days are for long hikes in the mountains or running on the esplanade. i’m a firm believer in luck as the coincidence of preparedness and good timing in life. crossing the BAA 5k finish line and beating my goal for the race!!! my wonderful friends, good country music, running, november project, solving a tough engineering problem, mountains, the ocean, life. everything. trying to see happiness in everything these days.
