"Sorry kitchen's closed" Daniel called from the back when he heard the bell above the door of Dasha's ring to indicate that someone had either entered or left. Seeing as most of the staff had already left and the ones who were still there weren't out in the front, Daniel knew it was someone coming in. "Oh hey Mara" he said when he popped out to the front and saw who it was. "I don't think all the food's been put up if you want me to make you a sandwich right quick"

"Did you want one?" Daniel asked with the cigarette between his lips, figuring that he should offer before he tucked the pack back away inside of his pocket.

“Grams? You home?” Daniel called as he pushed the door open. “The door was unlocked” he added as he stepped in further and moved to set the bag in his arms down on the counter in the kitchen. “I brought over a bunch of books. They were in the discount bin over at Spruce and Pine. Khadir practically begged me to take some of them.”

Daniel was speaking to one of the front of house staff members when he spotted Theo come in. “We’ll finish talking about this later okay” he told the employee, before moving his hand in a manner to tell them to go back up over to the register. “You want the usual today, Theo?” he asked, wanting to know if he could get started on the order before it was even placed.

"Let me get whatever's the strongest drink you have in the place" Daniel told Kirby as he moved to sit in one of the empty seats at the bar. "and when you think it's strong enough make it stronger"

“I was thinking something in a purple. Something simple not over the top like something my babushka would wear.” Daniel eyed some of the jewelry that was underneath the glass. “What about that one?” he pointed to a necklace with a simple pendant.

“You want one?” Daniel offered, figuring he probably should before he put the pack away. “How’s the coven doing?” There wasn’t any reason Daniel should have been invested. He wasn’t part of the coven, he wasn’t even a witch, but it had been Terezia’s coven. It was still her coven.
