Ever since the winter break had wrapped up, ‘medium’ practices had become less frequent. But one thing made itself clear during the extended period of lessons; Danielle needed additional training. The teenager was very bright, but it made sense the knowledge did not come as intuitively to Dani as it did the other girls. After all, she’d only joined the Hambleton family a few years ago. The basics had been glossed over in order to catch her up to speed with Effie and Maia. Seeing as it was affecting her skills, Sophia decided it would be best to take some time out to help her daughter learn about and connect to the flow. Having a core understanding of what it all was could really help improve her skill. And there was the plus of Sophia getting to impart some of her knowledge. The question was, where was the most appropriate spot for training? In order to have a true connection, it would be best to go somewhere with some supernatural activity, but not so much that it would be unsafe for the two of them. They would also need to go somewhere that was lightly trafficked. After some research, she decided on Lake Elsinore.
Talking it over with Danielle, they decided to go out at dawn on Sunday. So with all of the details ironed out, Sophia whipped up a ‘lesson plan’. The morning of, she got up before her daughter to make breakfast for the two of them on the road and all materials for their session. Every miscellaneous item gathered, she walked up to her daughter’s door and gently wrapped her knuckles against the wood. “Are you ready to head out, dear?”
