Sigurd Vasegaard (Nov. 11, 1909 - 1967) was a Danish artist and book illustrator. Especially renowned for his works for Norse mythology editions, he produced 185 woodcuts for the 1970 publication of Saxo Grrammaticus’ Danmarks Riges Krønike which are kept by SMK, the Danish National Gallery. Vasegaard also received the Eckersberg Medal in 1964.
