This is the good news we've been waiting for so long to hear. It means a lot to me and to all of us, because of what we've been through this season. It was hard to listen to the commentators on every single match say that BVB could be relegated, and that with no UCL next season means that our star players would leave at the end of the season - especially Marco and Mats. My commentators were so sure that Marco would leave, and that he could just choose any club he wanted.
But, guess what, he chooses to stay with us. A club who's currently 16th on the standing, and has enough of bad results. Only Marco knows the reason why he chose to stay, but I believe that, despite money is an important factor, it is not everything. He's a Dortmund boy. He has his family, friends and fans in Dortmund and he is a BVB fan himself since a very young age. He knows the fans sincerely love him. The same fans who have stood by BVB through good and bad times.
Thank you, Marco. This is why we love you. Because BVB makes your heart beat.
