Random evening thoughts....I've been assigned pies for Thanksgiving this year (which has never been a favorite holiday of mine), but my favorite aunt and I are the two people cooking so that means I get to spend the whole day with her, and I am so excited about that! The tragic side of this tale is that I have been planning to bake three pies since there are so many people coming, but my dad just told me I should only bake two!!!!!! Which now means I have to choose which fillings to make!!!!!

Pie Saga part 2: I was planning on making apple, pumpkin, and chocolate pecan, but now I have to pick between the three. Chocolate pecan is a must because Aunt S INSISTS upon it, so my decision is between pumpkin and apple, which both have their pros and cons...apple is easy, but maybe too simple, and pumpkin is iconic, but I have one uncle who is very outspoken in his hatred of it.

the struggle of picking what pies to do for thanksgiving!!!!!! i personally prefer apple over pumpkin and think there’s a lot more you can do to make an apple pie more exciting, but also appreciate the iconic nature of the pumpkin pie tbh
