Dermit-san says TRANS RIGHTS AND WE LOVE THEM All pronouns for Dermit but mostly frog.
it really is 4 years later and I just now realized that the fact that spare-able monster names turn yellow because yellow is the color of justice

What happens in Jujutsu, I don't plan to watch it but now I'm interested
So its essentially a shounen thats set up around the themes of death, loss, and the coping with such things while preparing for your own while using the mythological lore of ancient Japan and the occult practice of "cursing" another for its combat system while weaving martial arts and complex combat abilities that are reminiscent to stands and personas in their deep-rooted relation to the soul and detailed to simple rules sets for each individual. Its set up is rather similar to naruto in that the mc kicks off the story by inadvertently trapping a being of vast destructive power and boundless malice within themselves while their stoic but hardend black haired rival, strong minded and confident female companion, and white haired and masked mentor introduce him to the world of the Jujutsu technical Institute and curses. A organization tasked with training each generation with those with the aptitude the trade of exorcising curses (paranormal entities manifested by the negative emotions of humanity) and curse users (people with supernatural powers outside the organization with ill intent) to protect the unaware public of japan from the harm they would inflict. Its a pretty standard shounen with grim to dark tones with a healthy bit of horror mixed in as appropriate for the setting with a surprisingly hip and relaxed cast that gives it the feeling of early bleach at times while pretty effectively carving out its own identity.(in fact the author even did an joint interview with the dude who wrote and drew bleach) Its not necessarily subversive, but its strength lies in how it toys with expectations while delivering what was for me, a very entertaining and satisfying experience thats gotten me invested. The art style is very sketchy and rough but not too much so that it turned me away and is very enjoyable at times too. The manga just wrapped up its first very big arc and is in a 3 week hiatus until it kicks off the next one as with the latest chapter (147) its finished preparing the story for it to begin. Id definitely give it a read if you were at all interested and enjoyed early bleach until aftet the soul society arc and can handle a story that uses its characters to achieve a goal and have them exit stage left in a way thats satisfying and relevant to the story, the anime finished a few weeks ago so I HIGHLY recommend using that as your entry point if you can, it ends at chapter 63 and it should tell you whether its for you or not.
we don’t mention the south or Florida... remember how you ended up getting attacked by Floridians :))
