idk if you were around for this but i'm relatively new to the phandom (joined like, last march), so i wasn't exactly around for BIG/COTY. i'm taking a poll of some of the dnp blogs out here in this hellscape just for morbid curiosity: what was your reaction when you first watched the videos? what was the phandoms reaction on your end? thank you so much!! 💕💕

according to the tags on this post i was in a tutoring session when phil uploaded coty and so i missed that for a bit but yeah!! 

i remember being like SO taken aback bc dan hadnt uploaded in over a year at that point imagine that haha but i was kinda just in shock and SO happy for them. def took some time to reflect on shipping ppl irl.. i was 15 when i started watching them and the critical thinking wasnt all there ya feel. idk dans vid broke my heart and put it back together again and phils felt like a breath of fresh air. 

i remember both vids trended on youtube and twitter and eugene from the try guys came out the same time !! it was a good month for the gays.

my dash had ppl talking abt it even non phannies.

OH the funniest part was when you scrolled through twitter and all of the exphannies had kpop pfps. really made me chuckle to see a bunch of namjoon pfps screaming abt dan howell <3
