Where: Auror Offices, MoM Who: Dirk & @drfawley
Dirk understood that most of the Ministry had little time for the demands of goblins but it was still a disappointment to take a petition around the offices and find himself dismissed at practically every turn. Some people signed without even looking at it, no doubt to get him to leave quickly, while others waved him on with a look of impatience. Dirk wanted to remind them of the importance of keeping goblins on their side but he had been an oddity at school for enjoying History of Magic. He worried a little about going into the Auror office, where they seemed so hectically busy but his boss had stressed going to everybody, so he steeled himself and went in anyway. “Excuse me,” he said, strolling up to the first desk where somebody looked like they might be at a point in their work they could talk for a moment. “Dirk Cresswell from the Goblin Liaison Office. We’re trying to get an idea of how many Ministry workers would support the goblins in—” he trailed off as he saw the nameplate on the Auror’s desk. “Fawley… Any relation to the Fawley on the Mexican National Quidditch team?”
