Jake had to do it for Mirador because Mirador is a small band and needed the promo. But he wouldn't be caught dead doing that again for GVF. I think also because they haven't done it in so long either, it would look too obvious like "ooo the money's running out, huh? Gotta go back to meet and greets?"

Meet and greets are not only for small bands what are you talking about? Especially not paid ones. Small bands usually come out to like the merch stand to meet people some bigger small bands to meet and greets but there are several big named artists and bands that still do paid meet and greets?

Gvf lame as fuck for marketing the oracle vinyl as limited edition then changing it to not limited then releasing signed records of the oracle. After everyone obviously is going to panic buy the one that says first pressing/limited edition. However ill say its hilarious there are any signed left. Starcatcher signed record sold out in minutes. Its been like an hour and theres still some of these left and cds.

The only difference is that Taelor's not his boyfriend." Micah worked for the entire band, not just Josh. He started as their merch guy and then made his way up to band's assistant. But he was never purely Josh's assistant. He would be there in the background when the guys were getting interviewed at a festival to remind the interviewer of time and get them out of there and onto the next one. In the beginning, he even took photos/videos of them for socials too. So, he obviously did more stuff catered to the "work" side of things. Taelor does none of that because she doesn't work for the band, she just works for Josh's personal life. She is just there to get Josh coffee because he thinks he's too big of a deal to go and get his own these days lol.

Theyve all changed, but Josh has changed the most. I think this is a large part of why him and Micah broke up. He had a down to earth boyfriend who knew him before he was famous, hated the attention, kept him humble, and reminded him of home and what matters most in life. He gets one taste of Palm Springs and filler, and just starts acting like he's fucking hot shit and seemingly throws away everything he previously "stood for" (which apparently was just an aesthetic anyways). And he also threw that away for a new boyfriend who clearly enjoys all the lavish things in life with him, enjoys the attention, and is the exact type of person that Josh would start hanging around with in this new phase of his life. The old Josh would've never messed around with a 21 year old and would've been so weary of letting someone like that into his circle. They used to keep things so tight knit and only trust those who knew them prior to fame, but now Josh is letting in anyone and everyone who breathes and wants some clout (Danny too). It's just sad what they have all become.

It's something smaller or up and coming bands do, not big "we made it" bands. We made it bands get to pick and choose when they want to interact with fans and surprise them with it. Smaller bands have to sit there at the table and take picture after picture with freaks who come up and tell them the creepiest shit or their life story and then want to get a picture and get all up close and personal with them. It's definitely not something GVF wants to do any more, because it's tiring to be in that position night after night. It's almost like you're held hostage and have to have a smile on your face the entire time. I get it, it's a nice thing to do for fans (and yeah the guys get money out of it too), but it's dehumanizing at a certain extent when it's all you're doing before shows. They used to do it in the past and I think the second they were told they didn't need to anymore they were like THANK GOD NEVER AGAIN. Don't mean to burst anyone's bubble who wanted to meet them or has met them in that setting...but it's a much different experience than a quick chat on the way back to the tour bus or running into them an airport. The paid meet and greets are humiliating and tiring for most celebrities. And the people who spend money on it usually are the most annoying and creepy fans, and the guys are more than well aware of that. Josh is not actually a very nice person, Ive noticed

Id love to hear your thoughts more on this because Ive been saying this! But nobody wants to hear me. None of them really are but everyone wants to throw up what they see of WHAT THE ALLOW US TO SEE! Read between the lines people none of these men are shit. Yall thought sam was sweet widdle baby sammy and whole times hes over her being abusive. Oh well I met whoever a few times and hes so nice… yes because your 5 minute interaction of him specifically being nice because your his bill payer means hes such a good guy in general right? Danny comes off as dick, jakes an arrogant prick, josh is a stuck up asshole. But oh he smiled at you and hugged you so hes the sweetest guy ever right?

You know as money grabby as theyve been im surprised they dont. And clearly they have the want because people sit there and wait for them outside of venues all the time. I have to be honest I just dont think they want to. Jake is the only one who seems like he actually enjoys meeting and talking to fans. The other seem to tolerate it when it happens but they dont ever really go out of their way. Jake has had to be dragged away from fans MULTIPLE times because they needed to leave and he tried to keep interacting. I think it would make sense for mirador to do a m&g. But then again I think back to like the grimey thing, the pre signed records, I dont see any reason as to why that couldnt have been a live signing but they ran out as fast as they could from what i heard. There wasnt many people either they could have knocked it out in 45 min I bet. I would like for then do have more opportunities like that though like when they did those few signings when they dropped their album just because it seems the same few people get to sit out of venues and ive personally witnessed people who have already met them multiple times shove their way to the front and hog the attention meanwhile theres all these other people who havent met them once but are also waiting. I just think the organization would be nice and give others the chance to meet the people they look up to with out the concern of I might/might not be able to even if I wait out here because this person is going to push their way as always. You know? And I get thats not what its all about- meeting them and stuff but I would personally love to be able to meet any of them. I was one who didnt get the chance upon waiting because of the ones not giving others the chance and pushing their way. I think its okay for me to wait the same opportunities others get over and over. I mean its a thrilling thing, its nice to be able to formally meet someone who’s music and words have changed your life and been there for you. Its okay to see jake hugging someone and telling them he loves them and go oh I want to feel that too. I only bring that up because I know theres going to be someone who is like “we are here for the music, its not about all of that, get over it” which is funny because the ones who usually say that are the ones meeting them all the time. I started rambling but yes. I cant see greta ever wanting to to formal meet and greets though it would be cool.
