I ran an okay show tonight. There was a lot of awesome, enthusiastic people. Im really excited to see this music scene develop because we basically get to infuse an awesome value system from the get go. Seriously, come out and party in the next year!

13. Musical artists you love but have gotten shit for liking.

I've gotten shit for all the bands I like from people with bad taste.

That being said, Lana Del Rey and Bruce Springsteen are my biggest guilty pleasures. I will jam out hard to both Born to Die and Born to Run.

(1) What is your favorite way to express yourself- drawing, poetry, playing an instrument, songwriting, etc?

Writing fiction and sometimes poetry! I prefer novels but writing poetry is something I do to keep myself exercising my writerly muscles.

(2) If you could go anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?

To meet Jesus. Not sure exactly when or where, preferably during a supposed miracle... possibly curing the blind? Assuming I could get back here and maintain the knowledge of what I saw. I'm extremely curious about that.

(3) When’s the last time you stayed up all night?

I mean, define all night? College if we're talking about literally not sleeping for 24 hours, so far as I can remember. The last time I remember that happening was Star Wars marathon the night before my Buddhism final freshman year. I don't live a very wild life... But, I did ace the final.

(4) what are your religious/spiritual beliefs?

I'm an Atheist/Free thinker/Secular Humanist/Heathen :)

(5) who are the people you turn to when you need to talk about serious things?

I'm one of those unfortunate people who doesn't really talk about serious things (if we're talking personally serious). If I do, it's usually by force by whoever is nearby in a time when serious things are taking place. Usually that's my best person, Karen. If we're talking about universally serious, like human species issues, usually still Karen but basically anyone who will listen to my ranting.

(6) What was your first concert?

Tiny little community house show I can't even remember. Unfortunately after that it was the Kringle Jingle that had Brian McKnight and I think P!NK. I really don't recall.

(7) What book are you reading (or) what is the last book you read (or) what is your favorite book?

The Casual Vacancy. Infidel. Holy-Shit-Don't-Ask-Me-That-Maybe-Walden-Or-The-Scarlet-Letter-Or-Jumping-Mouse-Or-His-Dark-Materials-Or-HP5, respectively.

(8) If you could have any animal as a pet, what would you want, and what would you name it?

Red Panda. Pond.

(9) Do you want tattoos? If so, what?

Have 'em already. Yes, I'm plotting more, super secret. Couldn't possibly reveal them to just anyone.

(10) What is your favorite thing about yourself?

My brains. Some weird stuff goes on in there and it's typically interesting in a non-typical way.

(11) What is the coolest thing you’ve seen recently?

This episode of Doctor Who is pretty cool. Like bow ties. Other than that, the last cool thing might have been the sunset shining through an enormous icicle hanging from an outdoor plug.
