My Chemical Romance (Danger Days era) - I've always loved how vibrant and colorful this era was. Long ago, before Ash was Ash, he started out as a killjoys OC
David Bowie/Starman - This is Ash's song. It inspired his starry vibes and is the kind of music I imagine he would write.
Holly Black's Modern Faerie Tales and The Darkest Part of the Forest - These books made me fall in love with faeries and want to dive deeper into their world.
Howl's Moving Castle - I love the dynamic between Howl and Sophie. Also Howl is very gender.
Tarot - Danny is a witch who often uses tarot cards in his practice. Also many of my OCs are associated with specific tarot cards like Danny as the Magician and Ash as the Star.

Ash is a bisexual faerie prince who was banished to live among humans. He has no memories of his past life in Faerie, and is now a musician in a fae punk band. He is warm-hearted, free-spirited, and impulsive. His search to find his lost memories has led him to cross Danny's path.
When he was a child, Danny fell through a faerie ring into the heart of Faerie, where the Light Queen cursed his eye for disrupting her Court. Now an adult, he works at a used bookstore by day and studies witchcraft at night, with a special interest in tarot. Danny is queer, soft-spoken, thoughtful, and anxious. Ash believes Danny's tarot readings could help point him in the direction of unlocking his lost memories. Danny is not confident in his own abilities, but is charmed by Ash and wants to help him as best he can.
