Went to a con over the weekend and cosplayed as Danteh from hit video game limbus company. I’m very proud of it as a first cosplay, and I’ve come to truly accept jank as a part of the art form. Not sure if I’ll reuse this one for another one in a couple months or try to make a new one.

Ran into a bunch of cool people who were all really excited about it and got a bunch of pictures with them which I was super jazzed about too. It was fun to have a Spider-Man point moment with the Roland cosplayer I met. It was also strangely cute that two people who were incredibly nervous to talk to me, but I tried really hard to be the nice and reassuring.

I won’t post any of the con pics cause it feels weird to post them without permission from people.

If you’re on the fence about it, I think cosplay is super fun and worth a shot!

*the yellow straps in the second picture were cloth strips I put in the head to be able to carry it if it got hot or proved too impractical to wear around a convention center all day.
