All right! The patch is done, the puppy has been entertained (for now), and I have made probably the first of very questionable decisions today:

6.3 Mail Call!
The last thread was getting too long, and besides, it’s mail time!
@shanfamilydrama replied to your text post:
Oh god yeah that dialogue with Golah was so yikes, I really like the idea that it's Malgus corruption having an effect though 👀 (though I kind of lack the faith for it to be that clever).
Oh god yeah, this was... yeahhhh... I think my exact reaction when I got to that point somewhere on Discord was “OH. Okay. So we’re doing this, huh? 🙄”
(Although I do think it’s interesting the next line right after Arn jumps in to the argument is this:)
But I’ll be honest though, I’m kind of with you on the lack of faith, mostly because it’s not ever directly stated or brought up. Unless there’s some sort of long, unfolding story here that this is just the start of, I don’t see any reason to not go “man that got weirdly intense down there didn’t it?”
But I want it to be this clever--although it might just wind up being one of those headcanon things to make the really bizarre writing choices make sense. (And it’s not completely out of the realm in established lore and canon). I’m not opposed to a more subtle depiction of a Dark Side influence/corruption, instead of it being something that completely overpowers a character and makes them start cackling like a cartoon villain, but instead brings out their negative traits. It clouds their judgement, makes them unwilling to negotiate when diplomacy might work -- but yeah... that... might be not where they were going with this.
(I mean, the other explanation is the writers decided to take some distinct liberties with characterization on the Outlander’s bloodlust?)
Loved all the scenery, there's so much left to explore and find on replays - my next mission is to feed the pets.
Oh my goodness! Everything else aside, it was just so pretty!
(Sorry, I’m just still in love with this shot)
In the caves, in the countryside, the atmosphere down in the Enclave’s lower levels! Things started out bright and cheery, and got more atmospheric and moody the closer they got to Malgus’s little trap.
(And all those crystaaaaals)
Also I'm 👀👀 for more Grey Dantooine backstory/headcanons, pretty please!
Your wish is my command 😉
