The more i read the silmarillion, the more i think elves are such assholes, like caranthir saying 'bro what are this ugly creatures' refering to the dwarves that were in beleriand. Then there is this passage that says 'elves believed that they were the only ones that could write and do cool weapens' bitch ...really?, dwarves are sons of aule.

This mf would be even more piss off if the knew the dwarves were created first by aule and the elves came to be pretty much later in arda.

i think i love watching live performances so much for the same reason i love a good novel: there are patterns and motifs that show up like threads throughout the performances. Like in the early days of the band, when gerard would shape his hand into a gun and point it at the crowd, and then frank started doing that with his guitar until eventually they started to do it in sync in certain shows. Or the little speeches in between songs that changed only slightly from performance to performance. Or the directions that were given to the crowd in the early days which just became second nature by the end of the tour--like, when did the crowd start to know to scream when gerard turned the mic around during the “i’m okaaaaay” part? I dunno i just love patterns and mcr is so good at making their shows into works of interactive art
