Interested in how Danyelle Wolf-Norma Dumont plays out. Obvious path to victory for Dumont is on the ground but her entire game thus far has been her boxing. Wolf is a legit amateur champion and had the women’s welterweight division existed in 2012/2016, probably would have been an Olympian.

Well, not sure that one helps Dumont. She outboxed Wolf, but that’s honestly not that weird considering how amateur boxing works. Dropped her a couple of times too. But she struggled to do much offense when she got Wolf down and couldn’t get her out of there despite her being a complete novice. More power to Wolf for making it this far but she should be in Invicta if she wants to do MMA.Or fighting in BKFC.
So The DWCS actually has a fighter I’m looking forward to seeing this weeks in Taneisha Tennant. Tenant just won the Invicta FC Bantamweight Phoenix arising one night tournament in like March and she looks to be a good talent.
The woman the show has decided to match Tennant up against has no MMA fights. She was a former amateur boxer though. 3x USA national champion according to her twitter bio. Fought some pretty good amateurs too like Raquel Miller, Alicia Napoleon, Franchon Crew Dezurn, and Oshae Jones. But, Danyelle Wolf is a 37 year old with 0 MMA experience.
