“Death and the Maiden” (2016) BUY HERE

I finally put something up for sale in my long barren Society6 shop! It’s so odd, but cool, seeing my image on things like tote bags and mugs. It’s cheesy, but I kind of love it.

I’ve read about a few issues regarding Society6, but I’m going to give it a try anyways.

Someone buy some of this stuff, take a picture of it when you get it, and send it to me! I want to see how it looks in real life!

When you punched me in the arm on the street corner while heading to Character animation class, you informed me that we would both be in said class. Once I found that out, I knew that class was going to be a billion times more awesome (and it is!) due to your presence there. You're pretty chill, and you make even the most dull and mind-numming-ly boring lectures more entertaining with your comments on the side, and your jokes and whatnot. You're also a really great animator as well, I see your technique improving as you continue to grow as an artist. Your art is splendid, it's provocative, it's superb! You have so much talent, I cannot begin to express that in any sort of coherent - or even half coherent - message here. You've inspired me to try new things and explore new sides of visual arts I've always been too chicken to try. You have a diverse knowledge of your artistic mediums, and the subjects you portray and the way in which you portray them is incredible! :) Artsy side aside, you are also very sweet, and really smart as well! You've inspired me in not just the arts, to get myself out of my comfort zone and take a good look at the world around me. Honestly, I don't know how I can thank you for doing that. Keep on doing what you're doing (which is being yourself :D ) and... yeah! I'm sorry.. I'm feeling oddly mushy and sentimental (hence the long-ish notes to you and others :P ). It's all true though! Oh my gosh you are living with me. And it isn't so bad.... I hope :P Haha, in all seriousness though, I know I can be a bit of a pain to live with at times (who isn't?) but I do appreciate the fact that I'm living with a good friend such as yourself. I get to hear all about the development of your ideas - those different nations assigned to different people for example - and other such things. Personally, I find it fantastic. You have quite the imagination with you, and an incredible awareness of details which are often overlooked. I admire that about you. Ah yes, my very first university friend, and still a good friend to me! You're so comfortable with yourself and who you are as a person, it makes me rather jealous sometimes. I've never met anyone who's perfectly fine just being truly themselves, and being able to goof around and have a serious talk, all within the span of one conversation. You're really funny, and sweet. You may not always be the center of attention in the conversation, but you're still there listening, and bringing stuff into the conversation from time to time. It's all fantastic! Seriously, you're a really great friend, and I know that you'll always be there for me (even if I ever have any stomache-murdering Subway again.. Oh my!) I hardly ever run out of things to talk about and joke around with you about, and I think that is fantastic! :D You are a phenomenal person, and if anyone ever tells you otherwise, I will personally come 'round to their house and tear out their spine (because no vertebrae should be able to function properly if it's connected to a brain which thinks and says nothing but complete horseshit). :) We should hang out some more, and maybe make brownies or something? Wow, I literally saw you only once so far since last year in residence! What the heck?! This needs to change!!!1! Anyway, I'm glad you could make it over to the holiday party earlier this month because I do miss seeing your face and hearing your snappy/witty/funny remarks to the half-brained comments which get passed around the dinner table between our friends (I being the one who says a lot of the stupid stuff). It sounds like you're settling in nicely :D I'm glad! You know, you never cease to give me the type of advice that makes me truly reflect on certain aspects of situations. You're a wonderful listener, and quite the problem solver if I do say so myself!
