The weekends are especially bad though because there is no escaping this jerk so I just.... yeah. But this too will pass. (Also I’m pretty sure the only reason my pictures are so engaging is because I’m a decent photographer and I know how to tell a story lmfao but you know I always appreciate a compliment. =P)

God I can't remeber right now. Cole being a champion brings me so much joy and adds SO much to my oc/cole history! Also I think it was John silver who was a champ and he is so naturally talented and so naturally charismatic and I love him! My favourite bte moment is when they're like are playing higher or lower. I'm pretty sure it's in the a Christmas Carol one

Oh gosh, i know about all the wrong things in the tudors and yeah, it bothers me a lot sometimes when i re-watched it, but i still loooove the way Jonathan portraits the YOUNG Henry and i can’t even with Natalie and her Anne Boleyn.
Yeah, and that's why I'm willing to accept it, you know? I feel like the director and designers - and actors - went into this wanting to create a very realized and stylized world and I can appreciate that. It's story telling, so they change some things and that's okay, because... I see where they are going with it. And Natalie. Natalie for real though.

Should i be laughing as i love The Tudors? No?
So many of my students love The Tudors as well, and honestly... I have mixed feelings:
1. It's just not correct, which doesn't make it WRONG. I think the series actually captures some of the spirit of the Tudor court (ish) even if they don't capture the, you know, facts of the court.
2. The costumes are not period accurate, but I don't think you have to necessarily curate a museum exhibit when you do a period piece, you know? No, Henry would not have walked around with just his jerkin on all the time and I have no idea what most of those dresses are and - and a lot of no for the choices BUT it fits into the world. One of my many problems with Reign is that they never even establish a "convention" - they blend silhouettes and textiles from all over the world and time and it drives me crazy. Whereas The Tudors just goes for sexified history and... okay.
3. I just don't like the series, but I like Natalie Dormer...?
4. I am glad that you enjoy it - and many of my friends do as well, hell, my husband even stuck it out for a season.
