"Oh my gosh! You're so cute!" Of all the things to expect during her travels it wasn't that. Of course, now Daphne's kind of given away her hiding spot from where she was silently observing.

"Uh...hi?" An awkward wave soon follows. Hopefully, the other is friendly enough.

Volcana may have been lower than her on the Team’s chain of command, and she had heard some suspicious rumors about her potentially trying to overthrow Lysandre, but she was still a co-worker and so Daphne had to co-operate with her. 

Still, why her and not Celosia? It was rather odd for one of the more gentle scientists to be called to her office... especially considering she was dating the most vicious one.

“You wanted to speak with me?”

Her fins twitched, a faint biolumenscent lavender glow from her pupils and freckles. Soldan gave a small nod, expression turning serious. "It wass pretty loud, hopefully nothing bad. I'll have my eye out, I got a good ssense of being aware."

"I hope not." Daphne moves just a little bit closer towards Soldan just in case though. "I know there was a rumor about a werewolf-like creature running around. Knowing my kind of luck, that's probably it. Let's see if we can make it to that building over there." The reporter whispered as to not alert.

"Sorry for bumping into you like that! All the sights around me were distracting. Here, lemme help you with all of that stuff." Daphne was already bending over in order to collect the items that had fallen.

"I totally thought the same thing too! But that's how life can be sometimes. Just throws the unexpected at you like it's nothing." The reporter managed to chuckle. She can laugh about it now that it's over with. "I still can't decide if that was the weirdest thing I've been through so far or not."

She's not quite sure what she's looking at right now. Her brain is trying to make sense of it and the reporter leans forward ever so slightly to get a better look at him. But staring for this long feels a bit rude considering he's not attacking her. Say something, Daphne!

"Uh...you want some chips?" The bag of sour chips is held up and offered. It was the only thing her brain could think of in the moment.
